Adam openly admits this involved a lot of work and the creation of a lot of spreadsheets!
However, having that understanding of the finances was key for Adam, giving him the figures to back up business decisions he was making.

It was also essential for being able to set realistic goals for the medium and long term; both for growing the business, and for generating enough profit to buy the warehouse they currently lease.
